Episode 2 – Twyla Bruce and the GRIT Factor
We are pleased to introduce you to our second guest, Twyla Bruce. Twyla is a mother to 2 kids and a Coordinating Teacher at GRIT Edmonton.
We had the privilege to talk to Twyla about her journey with GRIT, a program in Alberta designed to promote a healthy community of inclusion and early development in children.
We talked with her about how she came to start in this career 27 years ago and why she is just as passionate today about her work with many children and families in the Edmonton area.
We talked about her children’s ability to create an inclusive environment in their personal lives.
We had a great conversation about the importance of community and the idea that a parent’s vision and goals for their child is crucial in advocacy within the system.
Thanks for listening everyone, we appreciate that you are here!
